The MAC application (MyGus Aux Champs) of our software solution Gus³ aims to facilitate, secure and optimize the crop monitoring that the technicians appointed by the seed station carry out on the parcels of propagation farmers. For this, the application offers a large number of functionalities, covering each step of your crop monitoring.
The application is available on Windows, Android and iPhone*, for uses that are as complementary as they are beneficial. To be consumed without moderation….

Weather forecasts

If our MAC application is not yet a rain maker, it does forecast the weather however, and what is more, down to the agricultural parcel, per hour and per day, for the week to come! Enough to keep knowing if it's time to sow, how the seedlings will grow, etc. And then, of course, you can also select the best possible weather conditions when orchestrating field inspections!

The meteorological data offered in MAC come from Météo France and include a wide range of information essential to crop monitoring: humidity, dew point, visibility, cloud cover, atmospheric pressure, wind force ... Eventually, the application will also offer the degree day of growth, and it will even be possible to record the weather forecasts per day of visit!

Cartography of parcels

In the MAC application, everything has been designed so that your technicians can perform a precise mapping of the parcels they inspect, down to the m²!

The maps come from the geolocation applications Géoportail et Google Maps, according to your needs. These maps can be personalized online, provided of course that there is a network: drawing the parcels, adding any pollination zones or a storage shed... They can also be stored in MAC, where it is possible to link them to contracts, propagators, varieties... as you wish! They can then be consulted at will, with or without a network.

In addition, MAC allows truly tailor-made parcel mapping:
  • allocation of a batch or of a third party to a parcel,
  • display of the history of a parcel,
  • etc.
It is even possible to split up a parcel, for example to signal that a batch has been partially ravaged by hail... And there is no limit to the number of maps that can be created or modified, except maybe that of imagination!

Flexibility of the settings

In any case, MAC adapts to your case! Thus, you can configure the application according to your needs:
  • varieties of products (e.g. corn),
  • field operations,
  • types of analyzes and observations,
  • categories of treatments (weedkiller, insecticide, fungicide, etc.),
  • etc.

The settings are made in our ERP iGus, easily and quickly, and can be updated in the blink of an eye. This is practical if, for example, you need to change the list of treatments you use (new product, or existing product suddenly banned...); then all you have to do is to add or delete the treatment concerned in our ERP iGus. And that's it!

In addition, in the MAC application, you can also fill in the stage of development of plants from the BBCH scale of the varieties that interest you; it's easy, practical, and what's more, it's provided, for your convenience!

Traceability of crop monitoring

In MAC, the identity of the operators is systematically memorized at each connection.
In addition, the application provides a detailed history of all the monitoring operations performed, per inspection dates (from the most recent to the oldest); this history is updated automatically as the inspections go along. And you remain in control!

Securing of data entries

Faithful to the logic and objectives of our myGus procedural assistant, the MAC application guides and secures operators, throughout their observations and data entries, while reducing the number of handlings as much as possible.

The contents offered by the application are appropriate and relevant, and data entries are minimalist: your technicians only fill in the information that is strictly necessary!
And to facilitate the entry of comments, MAC relies on a list of symbols frequently used by your technicians while taking notes; they just have to select the appropriate symbol(s) and... here they go!

Data acquisition can even be performed from all kinds of procedures, such as:

  • procedures for calculating the expected yield according to the species observed;
  • observation procedures, for example for reports that are standardized or subjected to rules so complicated that no one is supposed to remember them;
  • sample creation procedures, for example to ensure that all collection conditions are met, for the preparation of micro shelling in the laboratory;
  • control procedures, for example to close an inspection, and ensure that all the mandatory information has been filled in;
  • etc.

In fact, we can design any procedure you want! All you have to do is to ask...

Memos, photos, audio recordings

In MAC, everything has been designed to facilitate and secure the recording of the observations by your technicians, directly from the parcels:
  • possibility of entering notes,
  • possibility of adding photos, for example to illustrate a report (hail, plant bugs...),
  • possibility of recording audio comments.

Because in the heat of inspections, good photos or good audio recordings are often better than long written notes. And once back at the seed station, your technicians can transcribe all this information, quietly and without any omissions!

A highly collaborative tool

In our MAC application, each of your technicians can import, in addition to maps, any type of media (audio, Excel*, html, images, pdf, Word*, xml, etc.):
  • client records,
  • product sheets (for example, yours, precisely those that your technicians are used to and will be delighted to find in MAC),
  • various regulations (for example, on treatments),
  • etc.

Each user can link these files to a contract, and / or a propagation farmer, and / or a product, and / or a batch ... depending on the relevance. Once imported into MAC, these files are automatically shared with the rest of the team as soon as there is a network.

Variety reports

In the MAC application, your technicians have access to your production statistics, calculated and updated from the latest data available in our ERP iGus :

  • review of contracts grouped by sterility,
  • average, reference, effective yields,
  • average TKW and germination capacity of contracts,
  • devices used,
  • etc.
These statistics remain accessible in MAC, with or without a network; thus, even from the most "remote" parcels, your technicians can compare at a glance the observed yields with those which, contractually, are expected... and raise the alarm if necessary! And since these statistics can be saved per campaign, they remain available for any subsequent comparison you may need...

Data synchronization

The data are automatically synchronized between MAC and our ERP iGus, in both directions, as soon as there is a network.

Thus, with MAC in the bag, your technicians can systematically carry out their inspections with the most lately updated data available in our ERP iGus :

  • contact details on propagation farmers under contract with your seed station,
  • information on the propagation contract(s) (contract numbers, species concerned, varieties, parents, etc.),
  • information on the parcels (GPS coordinates, surfaces...),
  • etc.

On the parcels, the technicians enter their readings into MAC, in the course of their observations; all the data collected in the fields, qualitative and quantitative, are fed back to the seed station as soon as there is a network. In any case, the data can be analyzed and used at the station as quickly as possible, in our ERP iGus and in the dashboards of tiGus, even before your technicians have returned!

When there is not any network, MAC works in asynchronous mode, using the most lately synchronized data from our ERP iGus. So, with or without a network, the work can go on!

MAC and Semae

What if the data that must be sent to Semae, as part of the crop declaration, could be transmitted directly from our MAC application? And this, without necessarily resorting to Fisem, the software used for the data entry of the seed and phytosanitary inspection sheets on the crops declared to Semae... The fact is that, with or without Fisem, MAC is able to transmit all the data requested by Semae. So why not make the most of it? SemWare and Semae have agreed on a partnership to make this happen.
