Seed hybridization and plant propagation... With Gus³, nothing Olympic: it's a piece of cake!

In seed hybridization as in plant propagation, crop monitoring must be at the cutting edge of production! To ensure that the harvest is consistent, you need to control what you sow, in real time and down to the very plant.
Our integrated software solution Gus³ can provide you with this high-precision service, whatever your production method (indoor and/or outdoor) and horticultural specialization (seeds, market gardening, floriculture, arboriculture, etc.), while facilitating, securing and optimizing your crop monitoring.
What's more, Gus³ can be very easily adapted to your activity and the degree of precision you require, simply by setting parameters.

So make Gus³ your winning bet for 2024 and entrust us with your high-precision production needs, including those with a high horticultural content!

Seed hybridization and plant propagation can be divided into a greater or lesser number of distinct stages, depending on the degree of precision you require; our integrated software solution Gus³, thanks to its ERP iGus, its procedural companion myGus, in particular myGus in the fields - MACmyGus PLC and myGus Supervision, as well as the ready-to-use dashboards of tiGus, accompanies you through each of these stages:

myGusMAC, the assets of choice

With our procedural tool myGus, the cultural monitoring of your productions is carried out to the exact sowing or planting, and in accordance with your specific needs. By sowing, it includes, among other things:
  • recommendations: the expected/advised characteristics of each batch, such as the theoretical sowing and planting dates, the theoretical number of plants per square meter, etc.
  • achievements: for example the quantities of seeds actually sown, the actual sowing and planting dates, the climatic conditions specific to each sowing (temperature, humidity, etc.), the number of plants actually obtained per square meter, etc.
At the heart of these high-precision productions is our application MAC - myGus in the fields : it is a major asset for speeding up, facilitating, securing and optimizing your crop monitoring.
  • Crop data can be entered directly from your production sites (greenhouses, tunnels, fields, etc.), using a tablet or phablet, with or without a network. In the absence of a network, MAC operates in asynchronous mode, using data synchronized from the central database of our ERP iGus. And all the data entered off-network are automatically synchronized with the central database as soon as your technicians regain access to the network.
  • All the information your technicians need is accessible directly from MAC, easily and quickly, whatever the production stage, hybrid or conventional: information on propagation contracts, cultivated species (sterility, female and male cycle in days, sprouting strategy and flowering height for female and male, synchronization between female and male, information on pollination, theoretical flowering start date, etc.)…
  • The application also provides a detailed history of all the monitoring operations carried out.
With MAC, your technicians can, in real time:
  • directly enter specific batch characteristics, for example germination capacity, thousand kernel weight, batch destination (for example if the batch is destined for a particular hybrid),
  • compare precisely, by batch, any discrepancies between the planned program and the productions actually obtained; and easily keep track of the reasons for the discrepancies, in the form of comments, photos, and even audio recordings,
  • draw up precise maps of the plots they inspect, to the nearest m²,
  • etc.
And more generally with myGus, your technicians are guided from one end of the process to the other; entries are secure and the number of manipulations is minimal, in particular thanks to the use of barcode readers; so not only do your technicians enter only what is strictly necessary, but they can also have tailor-made procedures, entirely adapted to their needs: calculation, observation, sample creation, control procedures, etc. In fact, all you have to do is ask us for the procedure(s) you need! Contact us !
